About me
I am a London based figurative painter.
Artists statement: I am an observer and painter of beautiful things.
My art education began quite a few years ago with a Foundation Course at Brighton Polytechnic followed by a Diploma in Fine Art at the City and Guilds School of Art in Kennington, where I was able to follow my passion for figurative painting and drawing.
After some rather long stints working as a costume maker in Boston USA, a Personal Assistant at Sothebys, a Research Assistant and PA for two separate members of the Royal Family, and a charity administrator, I have come full circle and am concentrating on my painting and animal portraits again. I am a keen landscape painter and attend life drawing classes as often as I possibly can, always equipped with large sheets of paper and sticks of charcoal!
